The Latvian Super League is based on home and away four-round matches. The point calculation method for a single game is that the winner gets 3 points, the loser gets 0 points, and the draw gets 1 point for both sides. The team with the highest accumulated points wins the league championship. The order of the points is determined by the results of the battle, the number of games won, the goal difference, and the number of goals scored. The team with the most points in the league wins the championship and at the same time gets the opportunity to participate in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round next season. The second and third places in the league will participate in the UEFA League next season. The last place in the league is directly relegated, and the penultimate place will compete with the second place in the First Division for a relegation play-off to compete for a qualification for the Super League next season.
